Gkiona - Pyrgos

The crag is located on the northwest side of Pyrgos, at the point where the mountainside meets the asphalt road that connects the surrounding villages. Specifically, we find it above the road that leads from Stromi to Sykia, exactly at the point where we meet the intersection to Athanasios Diakos.

The field owes its name to the bandit Dimos Karalivanos, a henchman of Aris Velouchiotis, who operated in this area and is believed to have used the rocks as his lair.

To access the routes, there is a path, marked with orange signs by G. Torelli in 2010, which starts just to the right of the wooden house next to the road and leads to the base of the crag after a 45min walk.
