Dalton

Rock, Traditional

The route “Dalton” (VII, 200μ) has been established on 4/6/1989 by G. Agianiotakis - D. Tsitsikas.

This is one of the most classic routes in the crag, repeated many times each year.

The line starts on the slab between the routes “Cleopatra” and “Africana”, consists of a total of 5 pitches and leads to the large ledge of the crag.

For repeating the route, a full set of nuts, some friends and slings is required. Generally, the difficult passages, which require a lot of self-confidence, are equipped with bolts, but in between, removable gear is necessary. The first 4 relays are equipped and suitable for rappelling.

The return after its completion is done by rappelling from the adjacent route “Africana”, or alternatively from the route “Tower” or from the “Kalidonische pfeiler”.
