The route “Ectoplasm” (VIII+/IX- A1 (VIII A1), 340m) was completed and climbed on 17-18/6/2010 by G. Torelli - N. Karympalis.
For years, signs of G. Torelli’s route dominated to the right of “Hippocampus”. No sketch or other information had been published until climbers repeated “Babis Tsoupras” and confirmed that in the upper section some bolts go straight up.
After G. Torelli’s death, some of his manuscripts were found that mentioned 9 pitches and after further searching, a sketch and a photo were found. The line is probably one of the last completed by Giannis Torellis on the crag (most likely with Nontas Karympalis, who also lost his life in a climbing accident) and follows the style of all its neighboring routes with the unique style of this great climber, namely mandatory difficult passages, minimal bolts, solid rock and an amazing route finding.
The first repetition of the route was made in October 2025 by K. Vrochidis - Chr. Tsoutsias, in two days, using portaledge.
