The first ascent of the route “Feathers and down” (V, 100m) was realized by D. Korres - M. Montesantos.
The line uses the first 100m of the “Natsi - Alexopoulou - Petrocheilou - Petrocheilou” route and then follows the crack-ramp above the ramp of the older route.
This is an adventurous route, with amazing views and a long access and return.
To repeat it, you need a set of nuts, some friends, some slings and optionally a hammer and pitons. There are no permanent belays except for one piton high up on the route. The rock is quite loose and it is generally difficult to place nuts and friends.
For the return from the summit ridge, the shortest way back is from the north ridge. Initially we move along the summit ridge in a northerly direction (towards Gidovouni), where at its end there is a rappel point equipped with old pitons and slings, while lower down there is a second rappel (coordinates 38.710601, 22.096823). From the Pyramida - Gidovouni col we descend to Skasmeni Strougka.
