The first ascent of the route “Good rope partner” (VI, 200m) was established solo in 1980 by D. Korres.
The line is located in the “Firefly” section and starts between the “Stimulation” and “Thaleia” routes. Access is from the “Herod” section via the metal path.
The return after its completion is done by rappelling from the “Tower” route or from the “Kalidonische pfeiler”.
Note: The sketch and description of the route that we present here agree with the guidebook of G. Aligiannis who, after the 1st belay, draws the line to go diagonally to the right, towards the common belay of “Thaleia” and “Printezi” and then to follow “Printezi” for one pitch, up to the ledge with the trees. However, the guidebook of A. Theodoropoulos draws the line to go diagonally to the left and then straight up to reach the ledge with the trees. That is, not to meet any other route, except for “Stimulation”. This drawing by A. Theodoropoulos seems to be the correct one because it agrees with the old sketch by D. Korres. Since D. Korres established the route, while A. Theodoropoulos was with him on “Stimulation”, their own drawings should be more accurate. So we consider that the “Good rope partner”, after the belay above the dihedral, goes diagonally left, then straight up and has the next belay on the ledge with the trees, a little further left than the “Printezi” belay.
