The first ascent of the route “Habib” (IV, 400m) was realized in 1964 by Zerf - Tsamakidis.
The first winter ascent was called “Crème caramel” (III+ 3+ M4, 300m) and was done on 2/5/1988 by D. Sotirakis - N. Karavelas - D. Derdelakos.
The first repetition of “Crème caramel” was done on 25/3/1995 by D. Kallos - K. Siozos, in 12hrs, who encountered rock of difficulty up to IV+ and icy snow with a maximum inclination of up to 80°.
“Crème caramel” generally follows "Habib", with which it has many parts in common, but it certainly cannot be characterized as a simple ice climb version, because it is hard and dangerous, with constant difficulty, rarely in good conditions and for years it was the most difficult winter route to find on a Greek mountain. The season that is usually in good conditions is from the beginning of March to the end of April.
In order to climb “Habib”, pitons, nuts, friends and slings are needed, while for “Crème caramel” additional ice screws and snow anchors are needed.
