The first ascent of the route “ISO-FIT” (TD IV, 900m) was realized on 21/4/2019 by A. Konstantinidis - G. Karakostas.
This is an alpine route with good protection and solid rock, in a very beautiful environment, in the area of “Zerf - Georgiadi”.
The line starts from a characteristic passage after the ramp of “Zerf - Georgiadi” and before the edge of a low ridge (III). We climb the ridge through a system of ramps and steps (80m) up to a snow ramp (50m) to the left at the base of a vertical crag. This is followed by a rocky passage (III) and an exit to the ramp of “Zerf - Georgiadi”. Then we follow the ramp (40° - 50°) in a direction to the right and up until we overcome a small ridge and an open gully, ending at the base of a slab with an exposed entrance. The belay is made at the base of the slab. The length up to this point is approximately 300m.
We continue diagonally right (II - III) and into a gully (M2) for a total of 50m.
Then we follow a wide shoulder crack with ice (M3) to a ledge, for a total of 20m. The belay is made to the left, under a menhir. With suitable conditions, the crack continues straight.
We climb the menhir (IV) and advance to the base of a characteristic gully diagonally right, for a total of 50m.
We follow a mixed gully with vertical passages (M3 - M4), for a total of 60m. The belay is made after the exit on the right.
We enter a slab with mixed terrain, until the ridge on the right (M2), for a total of 50m. The belay is made on an exposed ledge.
We climb initially on rock (IV) and then on a mixed natural line, for a total of 50m.
We follow the natural line in a crack straight and to the right, with increasing difficulty towards the exit (M4 - M5), for 50m in total. The belay is done on a small ledge.
We follow a short passage (M2) and an easy ramp with an exit on the edge. There we meet the last meters of “Zerf - Georgiadi” and the technical difficulties end.
We continue on the snowy edge that ends in a gutter and this leads us to the top of the Pyramida (40° - 50°), for 180m in total.
A set of nuts, a set of friends and some pitons are necessary in order to repeat the route.
