The first ascent of the route “Lipovsek - Pipan” (IV, 400m) was realized on 22/7/1934 by M. Lipovsek - L. Pipan.
The route was climbed just a month after Emilio Comici’s historic ascents on Mount Olympus, by Slovenian climbers Marijan Lipovsek and Leo Pipan, and marked as the first ascent on Skolio.
It is considered an exceptional route, featuring beautiful pitches that wind their way up rock that is remarkably solid by Olympus standards.
A set of nuts, a set of cams and slings are required for the ascent. The belay stations were equipped with bolts in 2012.
