The winter route “Michailidi - Liagkou” (45°, 200m) was established in 1955 by G. Michailidis - D. Liagkos.
The line follows the southern gully used for the summer ascent to the summit and is referred to as the “Normal route”.
The winter ascent by G. Michailidis - D. Liagkos is the first recorded climbing route on Gidovouni, although K. Natsis - G. Petrocheilos, during their visit in the summer of 1936, did not mention the opening of any route, so it is believed that they probably climbed to the summit by hiking from the same gully.
