The first ascent of the route “Rilken” (VII-, 215m) has been established in 1983 by G. Kavalieratos - D. Sotirakis.
The line is located in the “Natasa” section and starts between the “Teenage” and “Allergy” routes.
G. Kavalieratos bolted all the pitches alone, except for the 5th, which is the most difficult. He bolted this one together with D. Sotirakis, doing an A1 in the difficult passage. The first free repetition of the route was made by Chr. Lambris - D. Sotirakis who graded the 5th pitch VII-.
This is a serious route, consisting of a total of 7 pitches, with minimal permanent pitons and some permanent belays, which is suitable for experienced climbers.
The necessary gear for repeating the route are a series of nuts, some friends and slings.
The return after reaching the top is by walking on the ledge to the right and descending from the climbing path. Alternatively, it can be done by rappelling from the route “Tower” or from the “Kalidonische pfeiler”, but this option is much more time-consuming than the climbing path.
