Parnassos - Kouvelos - S. Face

Diamantis

Rock, Traditional

The route "Diamantis" (VI-, 70m) was realized on 3/6/2007 by T. Moutafis - A. Konstantinidis.

This route is found at the edge of the east crag of Kouvelos. It is a characteristic line that offers climbing on a beautiful dihedral with an overhanging exit, shoulder crack, dulfer, chimney and exit by the slab, and all these on excellent quality rock.

The equipment required for this ascent consists of a set of nuts, friends (a small one, a medium one and a friend No 3), as well as plenty of slings and untied rope slings for the threads of the 2nd pitch. No permanent pieces of protection are placed on the route.

Return by the col that is to the left of the route.
