Doro ton Theon

Rock, Traditional

The first ascent of the route "Doro ton theon" (VI, 455m) was realized on 23/6/2002 by Th. Hatzisyrlis - G. Kolonis, in approximately 9 hours.

The line starts from the entrance of the route "Plaka tou Zerf", traverses upward under the routes "Zolota" and "Kastanioti", and then it follows a characteristic chimney, where the quality of the rock is very good. The belays of the difficult pitches of the route are equipped with one bolt each.

Early in the summer, there might a little problem with the water which flows from Skolio's couloirs and runs down the route.

In order to climb this route, one should be equipped with a set of nuts, a set of friends and four pitons.

The first repetition of the route was realized on 24/7/2004 by G. Kastanidis - G. Aliferis.
