Kali kardia

Rock, Traditional

The first ascent of the route "Kali kardia" (VIII- (VI A1), 130m) was realized on 1/6/2003 by G. Petromianos - A. Simatis.

The line moves on the big slabs left to "Toxo" and both these routes have the first pitch in common. The hardest passage of the route, which is the VII+ of the 2nd pitch, can easily be ascended using aid climbing techniques (A1), since it is equipped with two close permanent pieces of protection.

In order to repeat this route, nuts, friends and slings are required.

The exit of the route follows the left variation of "Toxo", thus for the return one must use the belays of the crag, either from "Afrikana" or from "Pyrgos", but it is also possible to return by making 4 abseils from the 5th belay.
