Rock, Traditional

The first ascent of the route "Kentavros" (VII+, 150m) was realized on 16/4/1998 by A. Theodoropoulos - T. Michailidis.

The route, which was named after a very old "resident" of the area, Kentavros Nessos, starts on the slab to the right of the first pitch of "Afrikana". The two routes meet on the ledge of the belay but afterwards "Kentavros" goes on straight up.

The first repetition of the route was realized on 3/5/1998 by D. Mpakalis - G. Milias.

The line is protected by bolts. In order to repeat this climb, only quickdraws are necessary for the first 4 pitches, while the 5th pitch requires using a full set of nuts and small - medium friends.

The belays are equipped with double rings and are almost straight and so return is possible by making three abseils down the same route (R5 - R4: 45m, R4 - R2: 45m and R2 - R0: 50m).
