Paliotomaro

Rock, Traditional

The first ascent of the route "Paliotomaro" (VII+, 100m) was realized on 26/10/2002 by G. Voutyropoulos - G. Aliferis - G. Kalogeropoulos.

The line moves on the triangular wall which is characterized by a black water groove right in the middle. This wall is located behind a small settlement, about 1km before Kryoneri.

It is a difficult and unprotected route, with a run-out at the VII+ of the 3rd pitch, which could be rated E4 English.

In order to repeat this climb, a set of nuts and a set of friends are required.

On the left side of the route, there is pro (bolts) left during an older attempt.
