Hi,
I am attending a conference in Athens from October 16. - 23. and would like to (at least) go climbing on October 22nd. I will bring all equipment if needed.
Indoor I lead 6b but it normally drops to around 5c/6a outdoors. I belay all.
I was thinking of going to Varympopi, Korakofolia or Acharneis and would like to team up with a climbing partner!
I am also considering to just show up at the crag and hope to get/give some belays - any thoughts on that would be appriciated!

Considering the timing of your visit, I would recommend you to go to EPOS filis and Mikri Varasova which are next to each other (http://routes.gr/?Page=en/Climbing/Fiel ... -EPOSFylis). There, you will definitely find some climbers to belay you.
Also, you might consider Filopappou hill crag where you can traverse or boulder on your. very conveniently, located in the city centre.
